Beloved wife, mother, babci and great-babci
LOWELL, MA -- Regina A. "Reggie" Fuller, 72, of Lowell, died peacefully, Saturday, December 8th, 2012, at Lowell General Hospital, with her family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of John "Jay" Fuller with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell, MA on May 1, 1940, Regina was the daughter of the late Helen I. (Krygowski) and Rodney A. Redman. She was educated in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School Class of 1959 and Tewksbury State Hospital Nursing School where she received her L.P.N.
For over 45 years, Regina worked as a Nurse for the former Christian Hill Nursing Home, St. Joseph's Hospital and St. John's Hospital.
She was a lifelong communicant of the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell and was a member of the church choir, Our Lady of Czestochowa Sodality, and was also a Eucharistic minister. She was very active in the church and proud of her polish heritage. She was also a member of the PAV Ladies Auxiliary, the Dom Polski Club, and the Red Hatters.
For the past six years, Regina wintered in Naples, Florida with her husband and made many friends there.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.
Along with her husband John, Regina is survived and will be deeply missed by her three children, John "Joe" Fuller Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Lowell, Scott Fuller and his wife, Patricia of Lowell, and William "Bill" Fuller and his wife, Lisa of Dracut; her siblings, Brenda Wojcik and her husband, Stanley of Hampton Beach, NH, Rodney Redman Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Dracut, and Mark Redman and his wife, Marie of Concord, NH,
She was the beloved Babci of 12 grandchildren, Krista, John III, Matthew, Scott Jr., Ryan, Gabrielle, William Jr., Rory, O'Lyvia, Gregory, Nicole Fuller-Rosa and her husband,Scott, Michael Cook and her great-granddaughter Aubrielle Rosa. She is also survived by her sisters- in-law, Eleanor Shirton and her husband, James of Methuen, Clare Dowling of Lowell, Brenda Makiej of Lowell, and Harold Fuller of Lowell, and Brent Fuller and his wife, Ida of CA; and her great aunt, Clare Chaulifoux; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends in Lowell and Florida.
FULLER -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, December 11th from 3-8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral will take place from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12th, with her funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Her burial will then take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell.
