Lifelong Lowell Resident

LOWELL -- Elaine R. (Jacques) Boisvert, age 76, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at her home in Pawtucketville on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013.

She was the widow of Raymond Boisvert who died in 1996.

She was born in Lowell on July 17th, 1936, daughter of the late Ernest & Catherine (Duggan) Jacques. She was also step-daughter of the late Arthur LeBlanc.

She retired from Raytheon in Bedford, MA after 40 years of work as a technician. She was a parishioner of St. Rita's Church in Lowell. She was a member of Red Hatters Association. She enjoyed Mohegan Sun, Cribbage and Domino's with her friends. She was known for her sense of humor and smile.

She is survived by a sister, Leona Tremblay of Lowell; a nephew, Dennis Janowicz and his wife Debra of Dracut; two nieces, Donna Stern of CA, and Denise Mindes of Bedford, NH; many cousins including Mildred Poirier of Tyngsboro; and many friends including a special friend, Judi Beilen. She was also aunt of the late Diane Janowicz.

BOISVERT -- Elaine (Jacques), age 76, of Lowell: It being her request, there will be no calling hours. Cremation took place Thursday. Relatives & Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday March 22, 2013 "AT A TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED IN THURSDAY'S LOWELL SUN" at St. Rita's Church, 158 Mammoth Rd., in Lowell. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Arrangements by the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell.
