Loving son, father, grandfather, and brother
BILLERICA -- William (Bill) M. Cronin, 68, of Beverly Hills, FL by way of Billerica, MA, passed away on April 20th, after a short battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Boston, MA, May 13th, 1944, the son of the late Martin Cronin and survived by his mother, Alice Cronin (Poggi). Bill grew up in Roxbury and graduated from Belmont High-School.
Bill was employed by Pepsi-Cola for almost 40 years, and has enjoyed the past 10 years in retirement at his home in Beverly Hills, FL. Bill enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, fishing, building and flying his RC planes, gardening, following his favorite Boston sports teams, collecting guns and making his own ammunition etc. He was an excellent cook.
Besides his mother, Bill is survived by four children, Michael Cronin of Wilmington, MA; Kevin Cronin of Billerica, MA; Marcy Downer of Dracut, MA; and Courtney Cronin of San Diego, CA. as well as his sister, Patricia Burns; and four grandchildren.
CRONIN -- Of Beverly Hills FL, formerly of Billerica, April 20, William M. Cronin. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 -- 7 p.m. The family will be holding an intimate memorial at a later date.
