Erin N. Goodwin
of Ayer; 41

AYER -- Erin Nicole (Lupis) Goodwin, 41, of Ayer, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.

Erin was born in Leominster, April 29, 1972 and resided much of her life in Ayer, but also resided in Leominster for several years. She was a 1990 graduate of Ayer High School and continued her education at Salter School in Tewksbury where her focus of study was Medical Assistant.

Erin leaves her beloved son, Max Goodwin Jr., stationed with the United States Navy in Monterey, CA; her beloved daughter, April N. Goodwin of Fitchburg; her mother and stepfather, Brenda M. (May) and Bruce Jones of Ayer; her father and stepmother, Frank and Diane (Downing) Lupis of Rindge, NH; her sister and brother-in-law, Tara A. and Robert Bozek of Ayer; her paternal grandparents, Frank and Martha Lupis of Framingham; her aunt, Rhonda Zambernardi of Groton; and her cousin, Scott Zambernardi, also of Groton. She also leaves two nephews, Thomas Bozek, Andrew Bozek; a niece, Kelsey Bozek; several family members and many friends.

For 15 years, Erin worked as a pre-school teacher at the Ayer Kiddie Depot. She had also worked at Acorn Child Care in Littleton, and in the catering services department at Roche Brothers Supermarket in Acton.

She was active at the Page Hilltop School in Ayer where she worked as a paraprofessional at the kindergarten level. She coached t-ball, baseball, softball and basketball for Ayer recreational sports program.

GOODWIN -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Thursday, May 16th at St. Mary's Church, 31 Shirley St., Ayer. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are 5-8 p.m., Wednesday at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte. 2A), Ayer. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information.
