Charles L. Page of Dracut, Raytheon retiree, Marine Vet; 87 -- DRACUT -- Charles L. Page, 87, longtime resident of Dracut, died peacefully, June 17, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. Charles was the husband of Doris (Ayotte) Page, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage. -- Charles was born in Lowell, MA on February 14, 1926, a son of the late Marie (Thibeault) and Louis N. Page. He was a graduate of Lowell High School. -- He proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Marines during World War II and the Korean Conflict. -- Prior to his retirement, Charles was employed by Raytheon Co. in Andover, in the Production Control Department. Charles was a communicant of St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut. He was an honorary member of the Dracut Knights of Columbus and former member of the Dracut Board of Appeals. -- Charles enjoyed camping with his family at the Ossipee Lake campground in Ossipee, NH. He also enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of the Indian Mound Country Club in Ossipee, as well as skiing, reading, walking, Bingo, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. Along with his wife Doris, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his two sons, Michael and his wife, Kathleen, of Bedford, NH and Richard and his companion, Tracy Masse, of Hampstead, NH; three beloved grandchildren, Eric of Bartlett, NH, and Christine and Sarah of Denver, CO; and two nieces, Carol Paquette and her husband, Edward, of Florida, and Diane Dias of Tyngsboro, MA. Charles was predeceased by his sister, Rita Ledoux. -- PAGE -- At Charles' request, there are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass on Friday, June 28th at 9 a.m. at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut, with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford. Please meet at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Mass. Eye and Ear c/o Macular Degeneration Eye Research, 243 Charles St., Boston, MA 02114 or the Greater Lowell VNA and Hospice, 336 Central St., Lowell, MA 01852.
