Loving husband, father, and grandfather
BILLERICA -- Charles R. Mulvey, age 78, beloved husband of Carol M. (Riley) Mulvey died Tuesday, at the Fairhaven Nursing home, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Malden, April 8, 1935, a son of the late John B. and Elsie (Coombs) Mulvey, and lived in Everett and Malden before moving to Billerica in 1965.
Mr. Mulvey served in the Massachusetts National Guard, was a Project Manager for Giltspur for 30 years, was an avid golfer, Red Sox fan, and a league member of the Woburn Country Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, James Mulvey of Lowell, and Michael Mulvey of Chelmsford; two daughters, Kathy Gough and her husband, Michael, and Stephanie Brunelle and her husband, Bob, all of Billerica; six grandchildren, Ryan and Kelly Gough, and Kyle, Joseph, Megan and Riley Brunelle; as well his extended family the Olsons of Billerica. He was also the brother of the late Edward and George Mulvey.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday in the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
