Longtime resident of Chelmsford; 84
CHELMSFORD -- Estelle G. (Bellavance) Joly, 84, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on October 1, 2013, at the Westford House Nursing Home, after a period of declining health.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Joly who died in 1996.
She was born on October 18, 1928 in Lowell, and was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Beatrice (Durand) Bellavance.
Prior to her retirement, Estelle worked at the Cutler Army Hospital at Fort Devens in Ayer, and had previously been employed with Civil Service for 26 years in various areas of the country.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Parish in Chelmsford for many years.
Estelle is survived by a brother, Donald Bellavance and his wife, Eleanor of Ventura, CA, three nieces, Susan McNah and her husband, Christopher, Patricia Tripodi and her husband, and Diane Brotherton and her husband, all of CA; several grand nieces and nephews.
She also leaves her dear friends, Karen and Jim Rogers.
JOLY -- ESTELLE G. (BELLAVANCE). Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Estelle's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
