BILLERICA -- Lawrence R. Doyle, age 75, beloved husband of Patricia E. (Kelly) Doyle, died Saturday, at the Carlton Willard Village in Bedford.

He was born in Boston, October 3, 1938, the son of the late Lawrence J. and Dorothy (MacDonald) Doyle, and lived in Mission Hill and Jamaica Plain before moving to Billerica 46 years ago.

Mr. Doyle was a Sales Manager for the New England Region of General Motors for 25 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks. Known to many by his nickname "Buddy", he enjoyed working around the house and on cars; spending time up at the family summer home in Bristol, NH driving his boat around Newfound Lake; watching Boston sports teams; and most of all, spending as much time as possible with family and friends.

Besides his wife, Mr. Doyle is survived by his sons, Michael Doyle and his wife, Mary Margaret of Merrimac, Kevin Doyle and his wife, Jessica of Orlando, FL, Brian Doyle of Concord, NH, William Doyle and Timothy Doyle of Billerica; his sisters, Mary Bates of Dennis Port, and Frances Clark of W. Harwich; his grandchildren, Michael, Maura, Caitlin, Krystopher and Aidan Doyle.

He was the brother of the late Anna Hammond and Jean O'Connor.

DOYLE -- Of Billerica, Jan. 4, Lawrence R. Doyle, Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica, MA 01821.
