N. CHELMSFORD, MA -- Michael Schleipfer Jr. of N. Chelmsford, MA died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA.

He was married to Catherine Schleipfer with whom he celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on November 1, 2013.

Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Michael and Petronilla Schleipfer.

Michael came to the United States in 1968 and became a citizen in September 1973. He proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Grace Community Church in Chelmsford, MA.

Michael and his wife owned and operated ACP Alternative Care Providers of Chelmsford. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Homes Apprenticeship Training Program SkillCare of NY, a member and board member of B.S.V. of Walpole and a member of the German Aid Society of Boston, which runs the Althesheim Nursing Home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael Schleipfer III of Denver, CO; one daughter, Domini Schleipfer of Denver, CO; four brothers, Christian and his wife Lisa Schleipfer of Lovettsville, VA, Mark Schleipfer of Scottsdale, AZ, Paul Schleipfer of Scottsdale, AZ and Joseph and his wife Gerti Haertinger of Germany; one sister, Terri Huebner of Fairplay, CO; one brother-in-law, Donald Morris of Wilmington, SC; two sister-on-laws, Joni and her husband Frank Kiesecker of Boulder, CO and Patti and her husband Robert Dalcaon of Long Island, NY; six nieces and four nephews.
