Richard T. Durkin, Jr.
Formerly of Lowell

LAS VEGAS, NV -- Richard T. Durkin Jr., 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on April 6, 2014.

He was born in Lowell on September 14, 1942, the son of the late Richard Durkin and Agnes (Mooney) Durkin.

Richard served in the US Marine Corps.

He owned and operated Durkin Oil before relocating to NV.

He is survived by his daughter, Katherine and her husband, Edward Chaisson; a granddaughter, Karah Chaisson, all of Tewksbury.

He was predeceased by his son, Richard "Dickie" Durkin, and his brother, Brian Durkin.

At his request, a private service was held at the Veterans Memorial in Boulder City, NV.
