LOWELL, MA -- Hoi Yan Joyce Pang passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was the daughter of Philip and Annette Pang of Hong Kong, the sister of Benjamin Pang of New York, and the fiance of Adam Nunes.
Joyce came to Lowell in 2003 to study at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She received her undergraduate degrees in Violin Performance and Music Studies in 2008 and her Masters Degree in Music Teaching in 2010. While studying music she also served as Assistant Teacher for the UML String Project. In addition, she was a classroom music specialist at the Bartlett Elementary School in the Goffstown, N.H. school district. Her passion and joy for music and teaching will be greatly missed by the many whose lives she touched.
PANG -- Please join with us in a Celebration of Her Life on Monday evening, June 23, at 7 p.m. in the Durgin Recital Hall in the Music Building at 35 Wilder St., on the South Campus of UMass Lowell.
