of Dover, NH
DOVER, NH -- Linscott Fadden Sr., 83, of Dover, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the Hyder Family Hospice House.
He was born in 1934, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of Maxwell and Beulah (Linscott) Fadden.
He was a 1952 graduate of Tewksbury High School and became a specialist 2nd class in the U.S. Army, 168th Engineers,1954-1956.
He started working for New England Telephone, as a Cable Splicer in 1956 and retired as a Design Engineer from NYNEX in 1995.
He has also been very active in Pentucket Lodge, where he received his 3rd degree and Strafford Lodge #29 F & AM.
Members of his family include his wife of 16 years, Lillian (Herlihy) Fadden of Dover. He had nine children with his first wife of 43 years, the late Eleanor (Nichols) Fadden. The children include, Linscott "Skip" Fadden of New Durham, Cheryl Plunkett of Groton, MA, Ronald Fadden of Dracut, MA, David Fadden of Windham, Kathy Anderson of Dracut, MA, Karen Morrison of Chelmsford, MA, Sheila Adams of Melvin Village, Kell-ey Hirst of Sandown and Kerri De'Rosa of Lowell, MA; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Maxwell Keith Fadden.
FADDEN -- Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm., at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials in his name may be made to Strafford Lodge #29 F & AM, Dover, New Hampshire.
