Westfall, Mary  
Mary Jane Westfall Grand Ledge Mary Jane Westfall completed her life journey on January 7, 2015, at the age of 96.  She was born July 28, 1918 in Grand Ledge to Wilber A. and Helen C. (Palladay) Barker. Mary Jane was very active in Girl Scouting in her younger years, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in 1934.  She graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 1936 and went on to business machine training and worked for Fisher Body until her marriage to Thomas Westfall on September 1, 1939.  Mary Jane was a life-long member of the Grand Ledge Baptist Church, was active in civic organizations and retired from Grand Ledge Public Schools as a secretary.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Tom, and her brother, Bill Barker of Mulliken. Surviving are her children, Tom (Dianne) Westfall, Jr., David Westfall, both of Grand Ledge, and Helen (Harold) Marr of Lansing. She loved her grandchildren, Ted (Pam) Westfall of Delta Township, Emily and Paige Westfall of Grand Ledge, Tom (Becca) Prowdley of Freeport and Jamie Prowdley (Kiel Shawa) of Lansing.  She also leaves three beloved great-grandchildren.  Mary Jane is also survived by her good friend Roberta Henretty of Grand Ledge and her sister-in-law, Donna Barker of Greenville. Visitation for family and friends was held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, M-43, Mulliken.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eaton County Medical Care Facility, Volunteer Activity Department, 530 Beech St., Charlotte, MI 48813.  She loved all their special activities and trips. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.leikfhinc@att.net  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Williams, Gordon - East Lansing  
Gordon Williams Okemos Gordon Williams, Ph.D., age 71, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2015, from cancer. He is survived by his wife Elaine, sons Jeff and Steve, 3 grandchildren, sister Linda Slaviero of Arizona, and brother Richard Williams of North Carolina. Gordon retired in 2006 after 35 years of service in the Counseling Center at Michigan State University. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 24, at University United Methodist Church, 1120 South Harrison Road, East Lansing. The family will receive visitors at the church at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, remembrance gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society or WKAR Radio & TV at MSU . Woodbury, Mark  
Rev. Mark Dennis Woodbury Charlotte Rev. Mark Dennis Woodbury, 55, of Charlotte, MI, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 19, 2015.  Mark was born October 13, 1959, in Grand Blanc, MI, the son of Robert Woodbury and Carrie (Woodbury) Cudney.  After graduating from high school, he moved to Livonia, where he met the love of his life, Laura Kullgren. He worked as a chemical engineer for Souter Oil and Dearborn Refining for 10 years.   Mark gave his heart to the Lord in 1983 and eventually followed the call to ministry serving as a Youth Pastor in Livonia.  In 1989, Mark and Laura moved to Charlotte, where Mark had taken a position as Youth Director at the Charlotte Assembly of God.  In 1991 he became the church's Lead Pastor.  Throughout his 26 years of ministry in Charlotte, "Pastor Mark" touched the lives of thousands as he grew the church into the vibrant community it is today. His passion also extended beyond his church to reach the greater Eaton County Area for Jesus Christ.   He loved people, missions, music, racing, and above all, his family, Laura, their children, and his Savior.  Mark is survived by his wife of 31 years, Laura Woodbury; their children, Austin, Paul and Anna; father, Robert (Carol) Woodbury; brother, Matthew (Susan Woodbury); sisters in-law Donna Gendjar and Linda and Aaron Cohen and Paula and Keith Cupp; uncle, Jim Barnett; and his nieces and nephews, who were very special to him.  He was predeceased by his sister, Roberta, and his mother, Carrie Cudney.  A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Charlotte Assembly of God with Rev. Rick Pasquale and Rev. William Leach officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Charlotte Assembly of God.  Interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Charlotte Assembly of God Missions Department. Arrangements by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
