Kern, Gregory  
Gregory Alan "Greg" Kern Lansing Gregory Alan Kern, age 66, passed away on November 20, 2014.  He was born on May 4, 1948 to Melvin and Lois (Raab) Kern in Allegan, MI.  He retired from Meijer, Inc. as a manager after 36 years.  Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, outdoor sports and spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons Dylan and Cooper Kern.  Greg was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daniel Kern.  He is survived by, and will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 39 years Sandy Kern, son Britt Kern, daughter-in-law Lisa Kern, brothers and sisters Stewart Kern, Bradley Kern, Barb (Chuck) Wamhoff, Ruth (Larry) Cook, special friend and fishing buddy Brian Miller, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.  A funeral service officiated by Rev. Wesley Emerson will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday November 24, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Avenue in Lansing.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family wishes to sincerely thank Debbie Twomley, Cindy Vincent, Kevin Essenmacher, Sparrow CCU Nurses Brian and Donna, as well as PHP for their exceptional care and support. Lunde, Margaretta Lee (Meg) - East Lansing  
Margaretta (Meg) Lee Lunde East Lansing Meg Lunde (nee Hilles) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 8, 1943 and died November 22, 2014 after a courageous battle with melanoma. She was the daughter of Frances Lee and Henry S. Hilles. She graduated from Frankford Friends and Germantown Friends Schools, returning as an adult to complete a BS and MA from Michigan State University. Meg worked to support her husband Erik through his MA and Ph. D, moving to East Lansing when he accepted a teaching position at MSU in 1970. Meg was an employment counselor at Careers Unlimited for 23 years helping people secure permanent professional employment. She was a lifelong volunteer serving as a director on the boards of the Capital Area Women's Network, Haven House, the Kaleidoscope Committee at MSU and currently volunteering at McRee House. She was honored to be selected as CAWN's Woman of the Year in 1994. Meg enjoyed activities with her beloved family, sewing and crafts, Yoga, watching films, sports, and was an avid reader. After retirement, Meg devoted her life to caring for her husband who has suffered for many years with chronic fatigue syndrome. Predeceased by her parents and older brother Henry as well as Erik's parents and brother, she is survived by loving husband, Erik; daughter, Elizabeth (Derek) Dunham; son, Robert, and grandson, Campbell Dunham; brother, Robert (Diana); special sister-in-law, Jane; Erik's sister, Anne; brother, Peter; and many nieces and nephews. Meg was fortunate to have good friends in East Lansing. The family would like to express special thanks to Frances Hackney and Betty/Doug Noverr for their assistance during Meg's illness. Donations in Meg's honor may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society. In accordance with Meg's wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing. On line condolences may be shared with the family at www.greastlansing.com .

Lundy, Reginald - Lansing  
Reginald Lundy Born to Amos Lundy and Grace Stephens Lundy 19 October 1939 in Cleveland OH, transitioned from his earthly body on Nov. 14, 2014. After a battle with cancer, Reggie donned angel wings and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. In 1958, Reggie graduated from East High School in Cleveland where he was active in cross country and track. He joined the Army's 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY with classmate and lifelong friend John Moore. He completed his enlistment and settled in Lansing where he raised his family of five children. Reggie worked in the animal science lab at Michigan State University until 1987 and became employed by the state in Dept. of Corrections. His steady ways and listening ear earned unilateral trust and respect. He met his wife, Jackie who survives him, and in 2002 they were married at Amazing Grace Church in Wheeler, MI. The Lundy's also attended Abundant Grace Church in Lansing as their second home church. Reggie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; daughter Delphine (Nesie) Storay; son Daymon Lundy, daughter Datrice Stalling; and son Reginald L. Lundy all of Lansing; daughters by marriage, Alisha Sorensen of Lansing and Kristen Rivera of Saginaw, and son by marriage, Samuel Rivera of Saginaw. Also surviving are mother and father in law, Mary and Eldon Hall of Merrill, brothers and sisters by marriage - Jim Hall of Merrill; Jeanine (Steve) Blair of Freeland; Jeff (Kathy) Hall of South Charleston, OH; Jennifer Neitzke of Hemlock; and Joanna (Dathan) Fisher of Phoenix, AZ . Many fond memories were also made in the presence of special cousins, Paul (Terrri) Lundy, Sally Colston, brother in law, Samuel (Diane) Williams and many other family members too numerous to name. Reggie's grandchildren held a special place in his heart. A memorial service honoring Reggie will be held at Amazing Grace Church - 9232 E. Monroe Road, Wheeler, MI on Sat. Nov. 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Richard Joliff of Amazing Grace Church (Wheeler) and Pastor Louis Dixon from Abundant Grace Church (Lansing) will co-officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mclaren Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
