Dunn, Gary - Lansing  
Gary Lee Dunn Lansing Born March 5, 1943 in Lansing, the step son of the late Bill and Helen Sheperle, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Lansing, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was proud of his 30 years of service to Fisher Body/General Motors, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the U.A.W. 602, Eagles Aerie # 1039 and the VFW 701. Gary enjoyed playing cards, camping, hunting and "fishing" with his buddy, Tom Hynes. He is preceded in death by his wife, JannaLee in 1998 and his dog, Pepper. Surviving are his children: Kristie Dunn, Tina (Nicole Brumbaugh) Dunn and Todd Dunn, stepchildren: Patrick Seeley, Mitchell (Tonya) Seeley and April (OJ) Kremsreiter, Grandchildren: Damion and Annie Dunn and 6 other grandchildren, his faithful and loving friend, Mary Seeley, 3 siblings: William (Carol) Dunn, Shirley (Tom) Pearia and Penny (John) McGlaughlin and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00AM at Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope with Pastor Aaron Milton officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Fifarek, Rosanne  
Rosanne Fifarek Rosanne Fifarek, age 67, passed away, Friday, February 5, 2016.  Rosanne was born to Robert L. and Dorothy A. (Chase) Fifarek on July 24th, 1948, in Traverse City.  She graduated from Manistee High School in 1966, and Michigan State University, in 1970.   Rosanne also received Master degrees in High School Education and High School Administration from MSU.   Rosanne taught at Webberville Community Schools, teaching in the areas of Language Arts, History, Theater and Journalism. In 2003, after 33 years of teaching, she retired.  Rosanne relocated to Traverse City and continued her career as a substitute teacher for seven years. Rosanne was born to teach. She shared her passion for literature, theater, and the written word with all of her family, friends and the thousands of students that entered her classroom. Along with her love of her family and friends, Rosanne greatest interest was travel, sharing her adventures with her sister, traveling through Great Britain and Europe, cruising Hawaii and the Caribbean, and multiple trips across the United States and parts of Canada.   Rosanne is survived by a sister, Mary Jo Fifarek, of Traverse City; and two brothers, John Fifarek of Haslett, and James (Jan)  Fifarek of Grand Rapids.  Visitation for Rosanne will take place Friday, February 12th, from 5 - 7 pm, with a rosary to follow, at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The funeral mass celebrating Rosanne's life will be at 2:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice House or Saint Patrick Church. Fink, Lillian  
Lillian H. Fink Williamston 1930-2016 Lillian (Bean) Fink of Williamston passed away in her home January 30, 2016 at the age of 85. The fourth of four children born to Marvin Day Bean and Lillian Howell Bean, she was born March 11, 1930 and raised in Lakeland, Florida, but sadly her parents passed away during her childhood. She worked as a school bus driver both in California and in Williamston, and she owned and operated a daycare center. Lillian had a passion for reading and learning, with favorites such as art, gardening and mysteries. On December 13, 1978, she married Raymond N. Fink. Together they enjoyed travel, visiting many countries including Israel, Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany, England and Greece. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca and Eleanor, and a step-daughter, Weaver Bloomfield. In addition to her husband of 38 years, she is survived by her brother Marvin Bean of Columbus, Ohio; her children, Jeanetta (Charles) Miller of Gualala, Calif., John Homer (Donalyn) Jones of Eureka, Calif., and Rebecca French of Buckeye, Ariz.; stepchildren, Carol Valor, Anne (Tim) Daniel, and Eric Fink (Lesa Johnson); step-son-in-law James Bloomfield; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Dansville Free Methodist Church, 1330 Mason in Dansville, with the Rev. Lori Dowdy officiating. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2265 Livernois Rd., #410, Troy, MI 48083 or Hospice of Lansing.
