Professor Callen, I will never forget your flashcards that seemed to read "Ms Johnson" every morning at 8:00 am. You intimidated me in Civ Pro, but I fought back in Evidence and you earned the spot as my favorite professor. You were a brilliant man and will be missed by your students at Mississippi College School of Law.

Professor Callen taught me Civil Procedure and Evidence. I admired his passion for the law, for the rules, and for original thought. He cared deeply that his students learn and become thoughtful, adequately prepared lawyers. I think of him often as I sift through procedural puzzles and evidentiary challenges. . . He lived at the school and made encouraging students primary. I think he is one of those quiet, decent, good men who is most appreciated and recognized for what he offered once he is missed. He is sorely missed. My condolences to his family and close friends.

To the family of Professor Callen, my deepest condolences. He was one of my professors at Mississippi College School of Law, and I will always remember his willingness to help any student at any time with questions. He often walked the halls of the college, making himself available to anyone in need. May the Lord add His comfort to you all.

Dear Professor Callen's loved ones,
I was fortunate enough to be taught Civil Procedure by Professor Callen during both his first year and my first year at MSU-College of Law. He was an amazing and brilliant teacher, mentor and friend. My deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you during this tragic loss of such a wonderful man.
Sincerely,
Adam P. Demko, Esq.
