Janet Lynn Bloom, of Leslie, 72, of Leslie, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014. She was born on September 26, 1941 to Douglas and Ruth (Bradley) Wright. She was married to Joseph R. Bloom on November 20, 1999 in Pleasant Lake, and he is surviving. 

Janet enjoyed gardening, sewing, making and baking. She was a MSU Spartan fan, loved dancing, and camping. She was a homemaker, as well as a Bus Driver for Leslie Public Schools, worked at Felpausch in Leslie & Mason, was a Gate Host for MSU Breslin Center, and a phone operator for Bell Telephone.

Besides her husband Joseph of Leslie, she is survived by 10 children, Teressa (James) Long of Leslie, Yavonne (William) Whitbeck of Leslie, Lynn (Trevor) Goedert of Mason, Arthur (Tia) Bischoff of Rives Junction, Cindy (Ralph) Dansby of Perry, Mike (Debbie) Bloom of Webberville, Bryan (Julie) Bloom of Seaguin, TX, Scott (Peggy) Bloom of Webberville, Carrie Bloom of Charlotte, and Ruth Bloom of Mason; 21 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; 1 sister, Carolyn (James) Nevins of Holt. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the J.C. Adams Funeral Homes, Leslie Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home with the Rev's. Ross and Susan Vandercook officiating.
