Larry Gene Munro Morrice Larry G. Munro, age 69, passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2012 at McLaren Regional Hospital in Flint. Funeral services will be held at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Perry on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Terry Euper will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Perry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday 6-8p.m. and on Friday 2-4 and 6-8. Larry was born in Owosso, MI on July 16, 1943, the son of Chester and Garnet (Waid) Munro. He graduated from Morrice High School in 1961. He served his country in the Army and was married to Joyce Schimberg and then to Sharon Adams. He was a member of the Morrice United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Oddfellows, past Boy Scout Leader, and was on the Perry Fire Dept. for 47 years. Larry spent his winters in Apache Junction, AZ. He was a tool setter for General Motors for 35 years at the Flint Buick Plant. He is survived by his children: Gerald Munro (Barb) of Owosso, Gene (Rachelle) Munro of Morrice, and Gennie (Kevin) Eva of Owosso, 9 grandchildren; Chloe, Claire, Cecelia Munro, Joshua Cone, Madison, Averi, and Kaylea Munro, Jamison and Jessica Eva.
