Age 72, passed away, Sunday, March 9, 2014.  Lawrence was born May 2, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Evelyn and Barbara (Stratz) Taylor.  A resident of the Lansing area all of his life, Larry retired from the Board of Water & Light after 43 years of service.  He has been a long time member at St. Gerard Catholic Church.  Larry played a large part in starting A.Y.S.O. (American Youth Soccer Organization) in the Lansing area and at Catholic Central.  A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew him. 

Larry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katlynn Klingbeil and sisters, Diane Gurzenda and Margaret Taylor.  He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janet; children, Pam (Larry) White, Mike (Stacey) Taylor, Lawrence (Lisa) Taylor and Threasa (Scott) Klingbeil.  Also surviving are 8 beautiful grandchildren. 

Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 13, 2014, 10:30 AM at St. Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Klein as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends, Wednesday, March 12, 2014, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel, where a Vigil Service will be prayed at 7:30 PM.  Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to service.  Memorial contributions can be made to St.

Gerard Education Fund or A.Y.S.O in memory of Larry.  Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.
