Maurice Lyle "Mo" Umbarger

Maurice "Mo" Lyle Umbarger Age 86, born August 23, 1926, son of James and Flossie (Rochester) Umbarger. Died February 25, 2013. A good man died this week. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a switchman for Michigan Bell Telephone, a fine furniture craftsman, avid golfer, card player and a hundred other things. He was a family man, a good neighbor and a real friend to those who knew him well. The family and friends who preceded him will welcome him. The family and friends who remain behind will miss him. Those who never knew him missed someone very special. He will be missed by his children Christine (Umbarger) Wagner of Tillamook, OR, and Bruce Umbarger of New York, NY; step-children Terry (Carla) Cleveland of Bancroft, MI, Randy (Christy) Cleveland of Kaycee, WY, Candice Cleveland of Charlotte, MI, Sheri (David) Cereska of Lake Isabella, MI, Rick (Denise) Cleveland of Lake Orion, MI; 25 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and brother Delton "Bud" (Darlene) Umbarger of Beaverton, MI. He will be welcomed by his wives, Connie (Kincaid) Umbarger and June (Barhitte) Umbarger; and six siblings. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Pray Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Hobson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2013 and one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care.
