Paul Edward Adams

Paul Edward Adams Charlotte Age 92, went to be with his Lord, June 17, 2011 with his family at his side. He was born September 28, 1918, the oldest child to Henry L. And Esther M. (Lomax) Adams in Gleason, Tennessee. Paul worked as an electrician for several companies in Lansing, MI and retired from Oldsmobile Forge after 27 years. Paul was a member of UAW Local 1618. He worked along with his wife operating the Gambles Hardware Store in Holt and later as a camper on mission volunteer for several years, helping Southern Baptist Churches in any way they needed. He enjoyed traveling in their fifth wheel and talking to other people. Mr. Adams never met a stranger, always willing to help whenever possible. Paul is survived by his wife of 70 years, Relma L. (Wilbanks); children, John E. (Betty) of Brinkley, AR and Brenda Rhodes of Charlotte, MI; 2 granddaughters; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; one sister; 3 brothers; one brother-in-law; and 2 sisters-in-law. Also surviving are special friends, Chris Morris and Virginia Wells, lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister and son-in-law. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 12:00 Noon at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel with Rev. Mark Booth and Rev. Brad McClure of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from 10:30 - 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Eaton Community Hospice House or Sparrow Hospice in memory of Paul. Condolences can be sent to the family at
