Ralph W. "Harmonica Man" Goff

Ralph W. Goff "Harmonica Man" Lansing Passed away at home on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Lansing, MI. Born April 2, 1935 in Lansing, the son of William and Dorthea (Burch) Goff. Ralph worked in the heating and cooling industry and retired as Chief Mechanical Inspector from the City of Lansing. Ralph loved playing his harmonica for everyone and serving his Lord. He also enjoyed serving others at Olivet Baptist Church, Kentucky Mountain Mission, camping, and woodworking during his retirement. In his earlier days he enjoyed skiing at the Lansing Ski Club, Caberfae and Crystal Mountain, fishing and riding his bicycle on the DAL-MAC. Ralph will be remembered for his love, sharing his knowledge and wisdom with family and close friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Dan, and brothers Doug and Jim. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pegge, his children: Ron (Cheryl), Kevin (Fran), Debra (Tom) McNeal, Pam, Joelle (Ron) Vaughn and Matthew Clark, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his brother Jerry and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Olivet Baptist Church, 5455 W. Willoughby Rd, Lansing, MI with Pastor Ed Owens officiating. A Memorial Gathering will begin at 12:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Olivet Baptist Church or the Kentucky Mountain Mission, 150 Youth Haven Rd, Beatyville, KY, 41311.
