Richard Thomas Kill

Richard Thomas Kill Lansing Richard Thomas Kill, 53, of Lansing, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Rick was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 26, 1959 and graduated from Harry Hill High School in Lansing in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris Kill. He is survived by his brother, Patrick Kill of Niceville, Florida, and sons Nathaniel Wilson and Collin Wilson, both of Lansing. He is also survived by dear friend Barry De Vet (Kelli Klein) of Howell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. Rick spent much of his working life as an active truck driver. He was a free spirit and generally very happy. He had a marvelous sense of humor and loved telling stories. If he was your friend, he would do anything for you, and he understood the importance of family and friends. Rick loved football and playing disc golf. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, music, and working on cars. Spending time with family and good friends was especially important to him. Friends will gather for a celebration of Rick's life on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 3-6pm at Forty et Eight Chateau American Legion, 2949 S. Waverly Highway, Lansing, 48911. Arrangements are handled by Skinner Funeral Home, 101 W. Jolly Road, in Lansing. Rick, we will miss you.
