Robert H. Quinn Naubinway Robert H. Quinn, 65, formerly of Perry, died Wednesday October 16, 2013 at his residence in Naubinway. Born May 28, 1948 in Peterborough, New Hampshire, son of Phillip and Elizabeth (Johnson) Quinn, Bob was drafted and served with the Army
in Vietnam beginning January 1968 and was honorably discharged in October of 1969. He retired from the General Motors
Fisher Body Plant, as a Master Plumber and Pipefitter, in 2002. Bob lived a full life. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, bonfires, reading, watching the Detroit Tigers and being with his family and many friends. Bob married his best friend and fishing buddy, Sandy in 1999. They moved to Naubinway, in the Upper Peninsula, when Bob retired and spent their time fishing on Lake Michigan and the many surrounding rivers, as well as helping the community as members of the Big Mack Pack snowmobile club. Bob was preceded in death by his father Phillip Quinn of Garnet, MI in 1993. He is survived by his wife Sandy of Naubinway; mother Elizabeth Quinn of Haslett; daughters Tammy (Dave) Gontarek of Rochester Hills, Kim (Joe) Williams of Perry and Stacie Quinn-Weldon of Owosso; step-children, Michael (Lindsey) Campbell of Lansing, Jenny (Mike) Campbell of Naubinway and Chris (Katie) Campbell of Lansing; grandchildren Autumn, Cole, Teegan, Phillip, Meggan, Mirranda and Seth; step-grandchildren Kylee, Kyler, Mattie, Ashton and Dante; sisters Kathy (Dave) Archambeau of Gaylord, Krissy (Randy) Pavarinta of Minnesota and Pat (Fred) Brown of Perry. There will be a casual memorial service on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at the Perry Township Hall.
