Roosevelt Hanks Roosevelt went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the age of 61. Roosevelt Hanks was born on November 20, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. Roosevelt grew up in Lansing, Michigan graduated from Everett High School and attended Michigan State University. He served in the US Army. Roosevelt worked for the Board of Water & Light for over 20 years before he retired. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his new grand baby, watching sports and playing golf. Roosevelt was the friendliest person you could meet and would have a conversation with just about anyone, he gave great advice and loved to laugh and make others laugh. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Roslyn Hanks, granddaughter Aubrielle Lewis; mother Marcella Faulkner; sister Addie Hanks; 3 brothers, Erle Swanson, Joell Hanks and Plymouth Hanks and many other family and friends that meant so much to him. Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 501 South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd Lansing, Michigan 48915. Pastor Melvin T.
