Terence Geoffrey O'Connor

Terence Geoffrey O'Connor Passed away on August 10th 2013 In Key West after an illness. Born February 27, 1943 in Lansing Michigan to T. Gerald O'Connor and Marjorie (nee Holland). Terry graduated from St. Mary's High School as a National Merit Finalist, then attended Lansing Community College, editing their newspaper, before studying English at Michigan State University. Terry was active in the Lansing Advertising Club for many years and received many Addy awards. Whether dreaming up posters for Suitcase Theater or the Brewery, building ad campaigns for his firm Ter Graphics, drawing Tony the Tiger for Kellogg's, founding the Woodley Herber Company with Thom Hartmann, designing advertising for the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, acting as an art director for MSU, making cartoons and pictures for friends, or creating delightful movies for special occasions, Terry brought his extraordinary gifts of artistic talent, sharp intellect and an exceptional sense of humor to each opportunity. Terry leaves his wife Brenda (nee Shear), brothers JIm O'Connor (James Waller), Steve O'Connor (Diane) and Tom O'Connor (Mary), children Kathleen O'Connor, Molly Cooley (Darin), Sean O'Connor and Tim O'Connor along with grandchildren Caleb, Levi, Joshua, Michael, Mikaela and Terence as well as many nieces and nephews and treasured friends. Services to be held at a later date.
