William Iucho Tucker Jr.

William Iucho Tucker, Jr. Age 80 passed away July 7, 2013, at his home in Winter Park, Colorado. Bill was born on October 15, 1932, in White Plains, New York to William Iucho Tucker and Caroline (Ewing) Tucker. He was the owner of J.B. Equipment, Inc. in Lansing, Michigan where he and his wife Dorene (VanNorman) Tucker raised 5 children: William I Tucker III (Lynn) of Williamston, Michigan, Linda Eschbach (John) and Nancy Tucker (Tish Heath) of Lansing, Michigan, Robert Tucker (Kathy) of Canandaigua, New York, and Kathleen Turnbough (Lonnie) of Frisco, Texas. Upon Dorene's passing, he moved to Winter Park, Colorado where he married and is survived by his wife, Diane (Koegler) Fisher. He is also survived by his sister, Anne Jensen, of Brattleboro, Vermont, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Bill lived life to the fullest. He will be lovingly remembered for his wonderful smile, and his constant efforts to give back to the community through Habitat for Humanity and thousands of wooden toys he made and donated to Toys for Tots. He was a former member and president of the Tri-County Bicycle Association, and continued to enjoy long distance bicycle trips with Diane and others. He wished to be remembered as someone who "tried to do what was good, fair, and right." A memorial gathering will be held at Brookshire Inn in Williamston on Sunday, September 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Eternal Hills or Habitat for Humanity of Grand County, Colorado.
