Nan, I'm so sorry for your loss and the world's as well. Your father was such an accomplished man and humanitarian. He must of had so much enjoyment discovering things and sharing them with the world. That is what great people do. He must have been a wonderful teacher like you.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is obvious where you get your gift for teaching from. Losing a parent is very difficult - it doesn't matter how long we get to share the earth with them - it never seems long enough. I will be thinking of you and your family through this very difficult time.

On many occasions,I have seen your daughter, Nan Jackson, lecturing, tutoring students on many weekdays and weekends,with so much dedication. I was curious how she was motivated so much. Now, I know, she has DNA of a dedicated scientist like you.Sad you are gone.
