Hi Sweet One: Just had to let you know that Brother & Doonie took me (in their new Silverado) to see a NEIL DIAMOND Concert at the DTE Theatre on July 3rd. (It was my Xmas gift from them). You would really have loved it too as you liked Mr. Diamond so much. He is certainly a "class act"!!!!! We had quite a full day - having gone to The Union Wood Shop in Clarkston for dinner first and browsing through a couple of the unique shops there. It was so wonderful to have been able to spend the time with them...... We are having a very, very warm (hot) summer so far. Feels good to go to the "ice arena" to watch Brother play hockey on Sunday evenings........ I will soon be heading to the Alpenfest to see our Virginia & Florida relatives. That's always fun and everyone misses you up there, too....... I know you, Grandpa Sommers and TJ are having a great time, tho................ God love you my Darling. Hugs & Kisses, MOM
P.S.
Almost forgot - I got tickets for Pam & I to the Purple Rose in Chelsea a few weeks ago. Mr. Peakes was in from Philly to play Norman Thayer in "On Golden Pond". He, of course, did a marvelous job and it was so nice to see him again. I shall never forget the time he gave you a part in one of the plays when we had our season tickets to the BoarsHead Theatre - and you did such a fine job!!
(Your memories help put a smile on my face very often - thank you!!)XXOOXX

My Sweet Precious Bucky: I find myself having many, many sweet dreams of you, along w/ brother and pet TJ, recalling the fun times we had fishing, camping, swimming and the wonderful campfires at our lot at Silver Lake......... I also remember so fondly your super hugs & kisses. Your tenderness always gave me such a boost as you always seemed to know when I needed that attention........ Brother is playing hockey again (after 22 years or so) and he is just as speedy as he was when you watched him, oh so many moons ago! He is also the #2 man for scoring points for his team; (there are some teammates that remember you when he played for GLAHA). Doonie & I go to watch him every Sunday (except 7 a.m. games - way too early for me). Yes, I'm still a nite-owl so I don't get up that early............ Just had to check in little Buddy - I love and miss you terribly. XXXOOOXXX MOM

To all of Bucky's family,

Whenever I would visit Bucky, my heart would ache a little realizing that I had missed out on knowing a loving, fun, Spartan fan. What I missed out on was real for all of you; and those good memories are yours forever, to inspire you, confound you, and make you laugh. I believe that everyone who met Bucky came away a different person, and glad for meeting him. By learning about him through you, I am a different person.

Dear Carolyn,
I can only say how fortunate we all were to have known Bucky and to be touched by his gentle and affectionate soul. I feel extra fortunate since I got to stay with you and experience "Life with Bucky" up close and personal for nearly two months back in 1993 when I was working at BoarsHead. I feel blessed to have witnessed a truly special, truly loving relationship between two people that I had not ever seen before, nor since. So true in power and scope that I carry that sweet memory with me to this day. Thank you for that.
Nancy and I won't be able to attend the memorial, but do know that you and Bucky are in our thoughts.
All our love and Bucky-hugs all around,

Steve & Tonyia Gonzalez

Bucky was always a wonderful neighbor. I will always remember how he used to watch me put out Christmas decorations and enjoyed seeing everything lit up! It always brought a smile to his face, which made me smile, too. Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in our prayers.
