Lansing
Age 84, passed away September 6, 2016. He was born July 27, 1932, in Cadillac, the son of the late Clifford and Luella (Rennells) Raymond. Clifford retired from working for the State of Michigan. He was a longtime, active member of Judson Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a lay minister, licensed to preach at his church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane, and his beloved wife, Hazel. Surviving are: son, Mark (Bonnie) Raymond; step-daughters, Roana Smith and Patricia (Rudy) Ledesma; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings, Arlene (Dick) Swiler, Carl Raymond, Bruce (Sharon) Raymond and Dale (Linda) Raymond; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at Judson Memorial Baptist Church, 531 Glendale Ave., Lansing, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Judson Memorial Baptist Church.
