Mr. Swanson was a dear man - we met him at Merindorf's and saw him at the Wharton one time. Always kind and friendly. May God bless and comfort your family.

Mr. Swanson was a sweet man -- I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face or a kind word to share. I enjoyed making "two number fours" for him when he came to town for ice cream, and having him wait on me at the meat counter. There were also a couple times when I saw him in a red suit and white beard, spreading Christmas joy to children. He will be missed but has surely found a heavenly home where he continues to watch over his beloved family and friends.
