Anthonette "Nettie" Curtice

Anthonette "Nettie" Curtice Lansing Born April 28, 1923 in Muskegon the daughter of Isadore and Rose (Weiber) Huss, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at age 87. Nettie was a charter member of St. Therese Church and was in charge of the funeral luncheons for many years. She was a member of the Altar Society for 54 years and was very active in the organization of the Shower of Roses each year. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Nettie started in the catering business in 1960, working for Tarpoffs, Campbells, Old Country Caterers and Amy's. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill in 2008, a daughter, Pamela Sue, a son, William Gregory, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are her 4 children: Michael, Patti Curtice, Becky Curtice and Tim (Ann), 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vic, who she remained friends with for many years in the catering business. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw where the vigil will be at 7:30p.m. Visitation continues Tuesday at the church beginning at 10:00a.m. Memorials can be made to McLaren Visiting Nurse & Hospice or Fairview Adult Foster Care.
