I worked with Henry for a few years at George Worthington back in the mid 70's. I remember him as being a gentleman and friendly to everyone both coworker and customer. He was enjoyed by all who met and spoke with him. I affectionately think of him as the best "ladies man" to have known. I thought of him often as to how he conquered th world after I left. My Mother (Lettie) also worked at Geo. Worthington and her affectionately called me Penfilly. He loss has created quite the hole in my heart.

At work, Henry had a way to make the men feel important and the women feel MORE important no matter their age or position. He is always a bright spot in my memories. I can not believe it has been 10 years.

My mind is still reeling at the thought of not seeing Lee as I enter into New Mount Calvary. If I'm feeling this much pain, I shudder to imagine the pain the family is feeling. Then I think, this is a family strongly rooted in Christ Jesus, so I know the Lord will make a way somehow. Stay strong and take full advantage of the comfort God will provide. Penny, you know I love you and your entire family, I pray for and with you. May God continue to bless and keep you. To Lee I say farewell old friend.

My deepest sympathy to the Brewer family. I attended New Mt Calvary for a few years, and Mr. Brewer was always so kind, always had a big smile on his face and kind words for everyone. May God wrap his loving arms around you and hold you close.

Mr. Brewer was one-of-a-kind! He was a glowing example to future generations of what a REAL man should be. We have many, many fond memories of him and his wonderful sense of humor; he stood in the gap for those without their own Fathers/Grand-Fathers. To his children, thank you for sharing your Dad with those less fortunate. Heaven surely got a beautiful angel when Mr. Brewer entered those gates. My heart goes out to the family, especially Mrs. Brewer, Fonda, Amanda and the boys. You are surely in our thoughts and prayers. Much love!

Mr. Brewer was one of a kind! He was a Father to the Fatherless and he filled the gap for so many people. He was a glowing example to the generations behind him of what a REAL man should be. He touched our lives and will be greatly missed. He made life on earth a better experience for all he encountered.
