Alan E. Tubbs Lansing Age 73, our loving father, grandfather, and friend passed away January 19, 2013. Born November 22, 1939 in Lansing, MI. Alan retired as Planning and Municipal Director for the City of Lansing after 32 years of service. He was the founder and C.E.O. of Alan E. Tubbs Properties, LLC. He served with the Peace Corps in Africa. He loved traveling and spending time at Houghton Lake. Alan is survived by three daughters, Laura (Merle) Seymour, Shannon Hole, and Jennifer (Jeff) Sweet; his grandchildren: Morgan, Scott, Sierra, Madison, Sydney, Katie, Lauren, Adam, and Adeline; his beloved friend, Leonard Hebert; sister, Sharon (Ed) Fox; brother, Richard (Cheryl) Tubbs; dog, Daisy; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Jean Tubbs in 2005, and his parents, Elton and Hazel Tubbs. Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Tuesday with a 7:30 P.M. Vigil service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 23, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave. Lansing, with Fr. Bill Lugger presiding. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday at church. Private Rite of committal will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be made to the
