Jordan Rogers Obituary
Jordan Daniel Rogers burst onto the scene January 13, 1987. From that moment on, he charmed everyone he met. Jordan lived, laughed, and loved with a tender heart. 27 years was simply not enough!! He was loved by many, and he will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Murphy Rogers. He leaves to cherish his memory: mother Phyllis Ann (James) Gardner; fiancee, Sarah Ellena; children, Jayden, Lilieah, and Demani; step-children, Christiana, Giana, and Ellena; sisters, Sharie Ross, Shawn Ross, Shelly (Archie) Willoughby, Danyelle Riley and Latosha Nyirongo; brothers, Charles M Rogers II and Maurice Williams; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19th at Mount Hope Church in Lansing. Service will begin at 11:00 AM with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Additionally, there will be public visitation on Sunday, May 18th at Riley Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jordan Rogers Memorial Fund at MSUFCU or GoFundMe.com to assist with funeral costs.

This man from what I have read here was beloved by many. He must have been a good guy. You know a good persom from what people say about them. While I never met Jordon my heart goes out to his family and friends. Trust God almighty and you shall see him again. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to Jordan's family and friends.

My sweet love of my life. My destiny, my other half. Thank you for being such a great man and father to my children. You made our house a home. You will always remain the man of the house. We will continue to live life as if you are still here because I know you are. When u left u took a part of my heart and soul. We were supposed to grow old together. But God needed u more. Jordan, 17 years of friendship that started at Towar Heart Baptist Church in the kids program. There are so many things I could say, so many memories I could share but that wouldn't even begin to serve justice. I know you're in heaven watching down on all of us. I watched you become a teenager, a young man, a father. You approached life with a fearless attitude. You always knew how to make people smile.
To Jordan's family: my prayers are with you. I understand how hard and difficult this is. But may knowing he is in heaven bring you peace. You raised a wonderful person who taught me many things and touched my life in countless ways.

Jordan, we never knew each other well or outside of school, but my birthday was on Monday and I agree, 27 years is just not enough.
