Not sure what to say?

July 30, 2010

Lansing lost one of its good guys in Archie. Peggy, I am sorry that I could not be here for the services, but I was in Baltimore, MD for a lacrosse camp for my daughter, Kirsten. Russ called and gave me the terrible news about Archie's passing. As you know, Archie and I grew up together in the Lansing Schools and still remained friends until this day. I will miss our meetings on Friday at the Nuthouse and seeing you and Archie at MSU football games. I had put together a Lugnuts Ball Game reunion for yesterday, the 29th of July, with Archie, Nate, Russ, Will and myself. Remember, we had agreed at the MSU Spring football game to do a Lugnuts game this summer. Well, I will try to put something together for next month, in memory of Archie. My prayers are with you and the family.

Sincerely and with Love,
John H. Mitchell

I knew Archie in high school as a very fun, kind guy. This was still the case when I saw him at our 30th class reunion. He told me he was proud of his family and happy with his life. I'm sorry for his family's loss. Sincerely, Sherry Peterson
