Dear Sue and family:
So sad to hear the news. I will always remeber our double-dates in high school when you and Brad first met so many moons ago. He was the most down to earth, easy going friend you could ask for. It was my honor to watch him fall head over heels for you, Sue, and it warms my heart that it lasted 30 years. Thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sue and kids, our thoughts are prayers are with you. I think of Brad and the care and love he showed others.. especially those in need. He made a lasting impression on me the 1st time I met him (The Giving Tree several years ago). Now that he is in good hands, may those same hands help you through this sorrowful time. God Bless you all. The Mallons

To the Canen Family - I have not seen Brad, Sue, or Lisa since Bob Canen's vistation, but I will always remember Brad being there to help out his family and friends, in good times and bad. This is the kind of man Brad was. He always had a smile on his face. To me he will always be Brenda and Steve's little brother. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my apologies for not being able to attend Brad's services. We are all better people for having spent time with him.

Brad Canen was one of the most genuine men I ever knew,he was honest and you always understood where he stood.Even though I never met his wife or children, I felt I knew them because he talked of them often and it showed how proud of them he was.Brad always seemed upbeat and positive...he was a good worker,Spartan fan, and a great friend...HE WILL BE MISSED!

Dear Sue, Lisa & Damien,
I will always remember Brad's (your Dad's) passion for softball. It was a pleasure coaching with him....I learned a lot.
May God give you all peace during this difficult time!

Over the past 28 years Rod and I have spent a great deal of time with Brad and Sue. We have camped, skied, snowmobiled, canoed, fished, traveled and celebrated many, many events together. I will never forget Brad trying to teach me how to downhill ski. He didn't mess around with the bunny hill, but took me straight to the top of the mountain where I quickly learned that getting off the ski lift was a chore in itself. After a couple of attempts to show me the basics of downhill skiing Brad decided to try a different approach. He skied backwards down the slope while holding the tips of my skis so he could guide me through the motion. By the end of the day I was skiing on my own while Rod, Brad and Sue took on the more difficult slopes. Brad teaching me how to ski is just one of many fond memories! - Cathy Murray
