Camilla Smith Obituary

Camilla E. Smith Lansing Born Dec. 13, 1915 in Fowlerville, the daughter of Albert V. and Sarah H. (McGuire) Brandell, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Camilla took great pride in being an independent business woman and a Sales Representative for Avon for 48 years. She truly enjoyed meeting with and helping her many customers. She will always be remembered for her vegetable and flower gardens, her love of reading and old movies, her joy of traveling and cruises. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and spending time at the cottage on the Muskegon River. She was also a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. She is preceded in death by her husband Otis of 55 years, who passed away in 1992. Surviving are her children: Dennis (Marian), Mark, Shelley Jeanne Centeno, Tanis (Patrick) Debnar, Carleen (Dennis) Teigeler and Rhonda (Thomas Timlin) Smith, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a brother Frank Brandell and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. George Daisy as celebrant. Rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00p.m. and Saturday beginning at 10:00a.m. at the church. Memorials can be made to Hospice Advantage. Condolences can be made at www.palmerbush.com.

Dear Tanis, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a dear sweet lady. I'm sorry that Terry and I were not able to attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today and always at this most difficult time. Love, Terry and Kathy Enos
