Charles McGlaughlin Obituary

Charles "Charlie" E. McGlaughlin The Villages, FL Charlie McGlaughlin, age 67, born August 7, 1943 passed away suddenly on August 7, 2009 at his home in Flordia. Son of Charles Herbaugh and Josephine McGlaughlin. Charlie grew up in West Windsor (Potterville, MI), graduated from Charlotte High School in 1960, and furthered his education at Michigan State University where he was later employed and retired. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Herbaugh of Englewood, New Jersey; mother, Josephine McGlaughlin; stepfather, Ray McGlaughlin of Potterville,MI; stepbrother, John Herbaugh, and stepsister, Shirley Brower, both of New Jersey. Charlie is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Stacey (Paul) Karvoski of Oregon; sisters, JoeAnn (Tom) Nehmer of Vermontville, MI, Mary Nelson of Evansville, IN; brother, John (Penny) McGlaughlin of Harrison, MI; and stepbrother, Bob Herbaugh of New Jersey. The family has respectfully honored Charlie's request for cremation and no services. Condolences' may be sent to wife, Carol McGlaughlin, 2025 Dipper Loop, The Villages, Florida, 32162

Carol- Cathy and I were shocked and saddened to here about Chuck's death. All of at AIS/MSU thought highly of Chuck as a colleague and friend. My girl's will never forget learning to drive with the '48 Willys Jeep in the field behind your house. And ofcourse I send condolenaces from the Ol' Goats!!! Scott & Cathy McGill

Carol: I am so sadden by the news of Charlies passing. I so enjoyed his friendship over the passed couple of years. I always looked forward to our workouts. May your many happier memories stay in your thoughts.. it will be so for me.
