Dear Taylor family:
I was sad to hear of Clares recent passing. I remember him from the singles group at Trinity church. We skied together on singles ski trips to northern Michigan. He was a nice guy and a sincere Christian. He had a great sense of humor was always smiling. May Gods peace and comfort be with you.

I met Clare thru my husband Phil in 1975. Phil often spoke of what fun they had doing overnights... with Clare, Phil, Scott Merritt, Jim Cummings, Rick Kaiser, and Dave Peterson. Phil bowled with Clare and played softball with him on the Calvary Church league. I remember when Phil and I went camping with Clare in Vanderbuilt, MI. Clare wanted to catch the fish for our dinner... we went looking for him after dark... no fish... so we roasted a chicken over the fire. That was fun. Clare visited us several times after we moved to Ludington... it was always fun catching up. We will certainly miss Clare. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Taylor Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Those that knew Clare, share in a measure of your pain. While our hearts are heavey with grief and loss, I know that Clare is with God.

Clare and I worked together while he was with Builders Plumbing Supply.
He was always, as you say, interested in a good polictical discussion. A true blue man who was commited to his beliefs, his family, his country, and his work. He will be missed by all of us. And I think all of us are better having known Clare.

My Deepest Sympathy is yours. May the Peace and Love of Heaven hold you firmly as you mourn your loss.

We got to know and appreciate Clare by working with him on several Emmaus Walks. Clare was a good person to work with, always willing to serve anywhere he could, be it mopping floors, chopping onions or providing musical entertainment with his lovely voice. Clare was a good man, and we were proud to call him our friend. Godspeed Clare! We will miss you, but we will see you again!

I am shocked to hear about your loss. My prayer is that your memories will sustain you, and God will comfort you. Clare was such a good listener. He always wanted to know more about my mission trips to Haiti and talked about going with me one day when he was able. I admired his devotion to his family and his church. We shared laughter and tears. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
