My mother (Kathryn Berry Anderson) was a childhood friend of Coral and of the whole Kirkby family. As a little girl I used to visit Coral's mother, Phoebe, with my mother. I also fondly remember wonderful notes and cards from 'Aunt Coral' to me on my birthday and holidays. Sometimes she would send me little gifts for the special occasions as well. She always wrote interesting notes about their life and what was going on. I know that my mother and she maintained a lifelong friendship, which is a rare accomplishment. Coral and Florence have been wonderful correspondents with me now that my mother has passed away. They both remembered special holidays and would send me cards and newsy notes. I am so pleased to have been 'adopted' by Aunt Coral...and pleased that Florence and I can visit from time to time. I think both ladies are wonderful examples of caring and taking time to celebrate the importance in every day. Both are wonderful models for all of us to emulate. I am blessed to have known 'Aunt Coral' and am so thankful to have had her in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time.

My ex-husband and I lived near your parents on Palmer St. They were such a sweet couple(and Jill too). May they rest in peace together.
