Everyone in the world should be given the opportunity to grow up with such a wonderful brother and friend.

As a man he possessed great inner strength, tolerance and compassion.

I guess for now we can only close our eyes and see this beautiful man and experience his great sense of humor.

Dearest Charlotte and Michael,

I can only reaffirm what everyone has said and believed about your dad and my brother. He was a kind and gentle person who loved you and his family without reservation. I know he is with family members who gathered and welcomed him to heaven. We must be thankful for the time we had with him here on earth and know we will see him again.

Love you always,
Pat

Dear Charlotte and Michael,

I've been trying to think of one word that would describe your dad and I think the word is "gentleman". He truly was a gentle man. And we all know how very much he loved the two of you and his whole family. I can still hear him calling you "honey" in that sweet voice. We will miss him and his quiet ways. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always, Charlotte and Michael.

Love,
Julie, Greg, Jill and Karyn

He was a kind soul, my Uncle David. I often wondered if he inherited the fierce Irish temper our family has been saddled with, for I never heard him raise his voice. Even as a child, I knew Uncle David was a special blessing from God; he was simply brilliant and an extraordinary listener. I will miss his wonderful chuckle. He was called home much too soon, but I am comforted knowing he was welcomed by loved ones waiting on the “flip side.” Charlotte and Michael, may the Lord bless you and give you strength.

Yes, he was a great intellect. I'd met David online a few years back and we traveled together during a vacation in the North Carolina mountains. He was a good friend.

My brother, my friend! A great intellect with not much mechanical acumen but ready to tackle anything. David consulted with top 100 companies and government agencies and sold them his patented software and serviced what he sold. A true innovator in cross-platform communication and report generation utilizing data from various sources. A strategic master in various gaming pursuits - chess, bridge and most recently poker. Beloved and admired but with human foibles, David was a wonderful son, brother, father and friend. Quick of wit and with a wee bit o’ the devil. Most importantly, David was an outstanding man. I’m proud and honored to call him my brother and Phyllis and I send our love to him and his children. May the shamrocks fall softly.
