Elaine Littlefield Obituary

Elaine Schols Littlefield Elaine S. Littlefield left us to be with our Lord on April 25, 2010. She was born Elaine Cecilia Schols on December 6, 1919, in Grand Rapid, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University where she met and married her husband of 51 years, J. Lyle Littlefield. Mr. Littlefield preceded her in death in 1991. She lived in East Lansing, Michigan for 20 years; Fremont, Michigan for 14 years; Nokomis, Florida for 25 years, in retirement and her final two years in Willis, Texas. Everywhere she lived, she was always active in local area churches, clubs and organizations, volunteering her time and talents to each. She is survived by two sons, Larry of Ault, Colorado and Floyd and his wife, Carolyn, of Willis, Texas and also three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. August 21, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Farwell, Michigan and a graveside service following, where she will rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations to her favorite charity, the American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Drive, Houston, TX 77057, would be greatly appreciated.
