Terri and Jim, I am so sorry about losing your dad. He was a wonderful man and a great uncle. He was so loved and respected. Scripture says blessed are the peacemakers, and that was always the way I saw him. A quiet, peaceful and loving man. Our prayers are with you that you also might find comfort and peace.

I passed Church of the Ressurection today as Mr. Wendling's pallbearers carried him down the steps. I was struck by those paying their respects and the ritual surrounding the brief moment I experienced, so much so that I wanted to see what sort of person was behind such a special ceremony. I was touched to see that Mr. Wendling was of great importance to the esteemed organizations he was affiliated with and glad he was being respected in such a manner.

All from a quick moment passing the church at the right time.

Condolences to Mr. Wendling's family and all respects paid to the man himself.
