Ernestine Branch Webberville Ernestine Branch, age 85, of Webberville, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 8, 2013, as a result of complications with Alzheimer's.She was born in White Oak Township on June 26, 1928, to Ernest Hill and Nettie Monroe. She grew up in a family with nine siblings and loved spending time with them. She married Richard F. Branch on November 6, 1948. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary one month ago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend with a sincere dedication to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Family and faith were her passions. She was continually opening her home, sharing her faith, and praying night and day for family, friends, and those in the community in need. Ernestine is survived by her husband, Richard Branch; sister, Luana (Tommy) Sawyer; sister-in-law, Connie Monroe; sister, Carole (Carl) Oesterle; sister, Sharon Harrison; son, Gordon (Kay) Branch; daughter, Janice (David) Carter; daughter, Karen (David) Shannon; son, Brent (Leslie) Branch; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, at Niblack Funeral Home, 1005 East Grand River, Fowlerville, Michigan, at 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, at Webberville United Methodist Church, 4215 Holt Road, Webberville, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m.The family would like to thank those that provided the kind and compassionate care that Ernestine received. This includes the Ingham County Medical Care Facility staff, Dr. Ensberg and staff, in-home care providers, and the many friends and family members that supported us through this seven-year journey with Alzheimer's. Above all we want to thank our Heavenly Father for keeping Ernestine in His tender care with peace and no pain.
