Esther E. Schrauben Portland Age 101, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She was born on July 15, 1911 the daughter of Frederick and Gertrude (Luckenbach) Feldpausch. Mrs. Schrauben was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Altar Society. Esther enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events, quilting, cribbage, and playing cards. Preceding her in death were her husband, Isadore; son, Roy; many brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Joyce (Joseph) LaFleur of East Lansing, Karen (Kenneth) Wirth, Gene (Donna) Schrauben, Gary "Dewey" (Nancy) Schrauben, Marvin (fiancee Jane Keusch) Schrauben, all of Portland, Charlie (Kathy) Schrauben of Pewamo, and Al (Karla) Schrauben of Portland; 19 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Helen Kavanaugh, Mildred Wight, Alice Veltman, and Mae Lehman; brother-in-law, Richard Schrauben; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Larry King at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. Monday, and 3 and 8 p.m. Tuesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Athletic Association, or the Fr.
