Frank G. Pawli

Frank G. Pawli Charlotte Age 86, died Friday, October 9, 2009. Mr. Pawli was born February 18, 1923 in Eveleth, MN, the son of Michael and Elizabeth (Taylor) Pawli. Frank served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater. After his discharge he graduated from University of Detroit. He was a self-employed accountant who owned Frank G. Pawli and Company and served his community well. Frank was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church for 50 years and was a Member of the VFW Post 2407 and the American Legion Post 42. He is survived by his wife Ruth "Mike"; daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Richard) Remenak of Charlotte, Mary Christine (Ron) Hoover of Sparta, Mary Frances (Dave) Fuller of Charlotte, Mary Anne Pawli of Montague and Mary Jane Forte of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Pawli of Harrisonville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Vincent Pawli and Josephine Miller. The family will receive visitors Saturday 6-9 p.m. and Sunday 1-3 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte, MI . A Rosary will be celebrated Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Charlotte, MI with Rev. Fr. Frances Mossholder officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte, MI. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Charlotte Community Library, SIREN-Eaton Shelter, or the Rotary Polio Eradication Program.
