Harry G. Isanhart

Harry G. Isanhart Clare Harry G. Isanhart, age 84, passed away on Saturday, June 11, at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland. He was born the son of Glen and Ruth (Alberts) Isanhart on October 12, 1925 in Marion, Michigan. His wife Theola preceded him in death. He had moved to Clare from DeWitt in 2002. Harry was a self employed Farrier and had worked also as a Rodeo Clown. He was the owner and operator of the "On Golden Pond Farm" and loved wheeling and dealing as well as buying and selling livestock, particularly horses. He had served with the United States Marine Corps. during WWII and was a member of the Clare Moose Lodge. Harry is survived by his companion, Sally Murphy, two sons, Douglas Keith (Mary Jo) Isanhart of Conway, Arkansas and Tom Isanhart of Dewitt., Michigan, his brothers John Isanhart of Evart, Mi. and Irwin Isanhart of Zephyrhills, Florida. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 16, at 11 a.m. from the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at the Gunnisonville Cemetery near Dewitt.
