Henry Clark Obituary

Henry O. Clark Formerly of Charlotte Passed away on Tuesday September 14, 2010 at the Ashley Care Center Ashley, Michigan. Age 87 years. He was born on October 13, 1922 in Grand Ledge to the late Floyd and Blanche (Freedman) Clark. He was a lifelong resident of Eaton County. He married to Lora May Hoffner on March 16, 1946, they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2006. Henry was a retired farmer and member of the American and Michigan Jersey Cattle Clubs. Henry was a former manager of the Eaton County Fair Grounds. He was also an active life member of the Eaton Area Senior Citizens. Surviving are his children, James Clark, Phoenix, Arizona, Jane (Mark) Johnston, Chesaning, Rae (Richard) Taylor, of New Haven, Indiana; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother, Floyd Clark. A memorial service will be held in Charlotte, Michigan on October 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Lawrence Ave. Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Johnston and Rev. Richard Taylor will officiate. Friends may call at the church after 10:00 a.m. Memorials are suggested to the Eaton Area Senior Citizens Center or the Michigan Jersey Cattle Club.
