Henry Tate Obituary

Henry Tate Age 93, died September 1, 2009. Born February 4, 1916 in Tennessee. Mr. Tate retired from Oldsmobile in Lansing Michigan in 1977. He was a member of Local 1618, also a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, 2 brothers and 1 grandson. He is survived by 1 daughter Betty, 1 son Henry (Nancy), 1 grandson, 4 grandaughters and 1 great-grandaughter due in November. Also surviving are 1 sister, 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Nancy & Henry, I am sorry for your lost. I will very much miss our conversations I had with Mr. Tate over the last couple of years. To include talks about the Army or fights he had gotton in as a young man. Other talks were just about life in general. Take care and your family are in my prayers.

Nancy and Henry, you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. I said goodbye to my own Mother on August 8 and my own heart aches daily... may kindness and love of friends and family help to comfort you.
